Boat Rental Pricing & Check-in Times

Check-in times will be selected during the booking process. please arrive 15mins prior to check-in time to allow proper time for training and safety instructions. 

Changes in Check-in time will need to be approved by rentals manager and could incur additional fees.

CANCELLATION/WEATHER POLICIES
Cancellations Policy
 – Cancellations made 14 days prior to reservation will receive 100% reservation deposit refunded. Any cancellations made between 14 days and 48 hours prior to reservation will receive 50% reservation deposit refunded. Any cancellation made within 48 hours of reservation will not receive any refund of their reservation deposit.

Weather Policy
– Mid-Atlantic watersports reserves the right to cancel any reservation due to weather in which mid-Atlantic Watersports feels the conditions are unsafe, in this situation all reservation deposits will be refunded. Any cancellations made by renter and not mid-Atlantic watersports due to inclement weather will be judged on a case-by-case scenario by Mid-Atlantic Watersports.
 
Reservation Hold Deposits
– 25% of reservation is due when the reservation is confirmed, this hold goes towards your final invoice.

Overnight Policy 
Multi-day Rentals may choose to keep the rentals at their own dock if available, however, there is no operating rental vessels from Dusk to Dawn. 

Arrival Time
Customers arriving after 10:30 AM will be charged a $50 service fee for rental team members staying past the morning rental shift.  Customers who do not show or call by noon may have the rental canceled at the discretion of the manager on duty, and will not receive their deposit back.

Licensing
All rental customers are required to obtain a boating license to operate vessels.  Operators can obtain a free temporary boating license by passing the Power Boat safety examination on RentalBoatSafety.com (https://www.rentalboatsafety.com/power-boats).  Operators can obtain a free permanent license by passing the BoatUS Safety course found at the following link https://www.boatus.org/virginia/.  Please bring a virtual or hard copy of the passed certificate along with you when picking up the rental boat.

Pet Policy
Dogs are permitted with the addition of a pet surcharge of $50/animal.
